American Express USA PATRIOT Act Global Certification
Pursuant to the USA PATRIOT Act ("the Act") and final rules issued by the U.S. Treasury Department, certain U.S. financial institutions are required to obtain information in the form of a certification from any "foreign bank" for which it maintains a "correspondent account".
In order to assist these financial institutions in satisfying their obligations, American Express has made available a Global Certification that provides the information required under the Act and final rules. Please click here to download a PDF of the American Express Global Certification.
Please use this Global Certification for each American Express business maintaining a "correspondent account" with your institution.
